1965 – 2016

AUBURN — Albert S. “Scott” Sessions, 49, of Norway, passed away on Friday, Jan. 15, at the Hospice House in Auburn after a lengthy illness.

Scott was born in Portsmouth, N.H., on July 25, 1965, a son of Albert E. and Barbara (Deming) Sessions. He attended schools in the Oxford Hills area.

For most of his life he worked in construction. He had previously worked at Cornwall Wood Products in Oxford and most recently at Tire Warehouse in Auburn.

He enjoyed doing mechanic work and had also raced in the Enduro’s at Oxford Plains Speedway, where he enjoyed camping. Scott also loved “junking” and had the talent and ability to fix up the items he found and make beautiful things from them for his family and friends.

He married Teresa Dodge on Oct. 21, 2000.

Besides his wife of Norway, Scott leaves behind his mother of South Paris; two sons, Adam Sessions and Matthew Smith, both of Norway; four daughters, Crystal Meek and her husband, Richard, of Harrison, Alicia Sessions and her fiancé, Matt Grover, of Turner, Rose Sessions of Norway and Rebecca Richard and her husband, Justin, of Naples; two sisters, Nancy Sheffey and her husband, Bobby, of Ponce Inlet, Fla., and Kimberly Rose and her husband, Thomas, of Turner; six grandchildren, Ayden Meek, Madisyn Grover, Zachary Grover, Julia Sessions, Piper Richard and June Richard; and 15 nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his father; a brother, Dwayne in 1992; and a sister, Julie in 2008.
