Mexico High ’49 to meet for lunch
MEXICO — Mexico High School Class of 1949 will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, at Dick’s Restaurant.
Members, spouses and friends are welcome.
SeniorsPlus program in West Paris
WEST PARIS – SeniorsPlus will offer its Long Distance Learning program to connect community members in the West Paris area with live educational seminars being held at the Lewiston Education Center of SeniorsPlus.
The class, with Maine author Kendall Morse, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at the West Paris Library. The class features Morse’s book, “Father Fell Down the Well,” which is a collection of traditional Downeast stories collected and performed by Morse during a career of performing in Maine and across America.
Community members who wish to join the classroom at the West Paris Library need to register with SeniorsPlus. The class is free and all are welcome.

Winter Movie Nights at Norway library
NORWAY — Norway Memorial Library is hosting Winter Movie Nights at the library. Shows will be held Thursday, Jan. 28; Tuesday, Feb. 23; and Tuesday, March 22.
All movies will begin at 6 p.m., with doors opening at 5:30. Attendees are welcome to bring personal folding chairs for a more comfortable experience. Free popcorn will be provided.

In the event of bad weather, movie nights will be canceled, with notices posted on the library’s Facebook page. The movie nights are made possible through the purchase of a movie license by the Friends of Norway Memorial Library.
Oxford Hills bridge play winners
OXFORD — Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met Jan. 15 in the Recreation Building, King Street, when a seven-table Howell movement was played.
Finishing first in flight A were Rosemarie Goodwin, Lewiston, and Luke Merry, Windham; second, Norma and Rick Verrill, Gorham, who also were first in flight B; third, Hazel Glazier, Norway, and Marta Clements, Woodstock; fourth, Neanie Kivus, Lewiston, and David Lock, Greene.
Second in flight B were Diana and Jim Fallon, Bridgton, who also were first in flight C; third, Cynthia and Bill Clifford Jr., Lewiston; fourth, Milt McKeen Jr., Bridgton, and Jim Krainin, Naples, who also were second in flight C; third in C, Denny Raymond, Waterford, and Jim Dickens, Naples; fourth, Cindy and Bob Kirchherr, South Paris.
