A Windham man was arrested Friday in connection with the shooting death of his wife inside their home earlier this month.

State Police arrested 33-year-old Noah Gaston and charged him with murder. Police said Gaston’s 34-year-old wife, Alicia Gaston, died from a shotgun blast just before dawn on Jan. 14.

The couple’s three children were at Brookhaven Drive home at the time of the shooting, police said. The kids are now staying with relatives.

Gaston was arrested in Kingfield where he had been visiting his mother, police said. He was being taken to the Cumberland County Jail in Portland and is expected to make his first court appearance either Monday or Tuesday.
