UPDATE: Androscoggin chamber unveils new look, new name

LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce has called a news conference for noon Thursday to announce coming changes.

The changes include a new brand, a new website and a new name, according to Matt Leonard, who replaced Chip Morrison last summer after 20 years as president.

On Wednesday, the chamber’s website teased: “Change is in the air. And great things are coming. Stay tuned for our new site. Launching January 28.”

The chamber will also host its annual dinner and awards ceremony Thursday night starting at 5 p.m. at the Ramada Conference Center.
