FARMINGTON — The sounds of New Orleans traditional jazz and gospel music will fill the Fairbanks Union Church at 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 7.

The South Strong Road Crew will play throughout the service and lead the congregation in jazz versions of traditional gospel hymns. The musicians are Andy Buckland, bass; Scott Dixon, drums; Doug Walrath, keyboard; and Sherry Walrath, vocals.

Others who will provide special music include Nan Berry, Jackie Tardiff, Leonard Bromberg, Louise and Joel Bunker, and the Fairbanks Church Choir.

The sixth annual jazz service is open to the public.
