No doubt, drug problems in Maine are getting worse. How many young people are persuaded by their friends to use drugs? Here is a tip: They are not friends. Run.

How many young people die from an overdose sold to them by a pusher? Drug pushers who are convicted go to jail for a period of time, then come out, go on food stamps and then start pushing again.

If a pusher is found guilty of selling to a person who then dies of an overdose, maybe that drug pusher should be given an overdose of his own medicine (as the governor suggests).

The word might get out and they would stop selling.
