1933 – 2016
LEWISTON — Margaret Theberge, 82, of Lewiston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 30, at d’Youville Pavilion following a long illness.
She was born on Dec. 18, 1933, the daughter of Ethelbert and Blanche (Fortin) Theberge. She was a graduate of Lewiston High School, Class of 1953.
Following high school, Margaret went on to nursing school in 1954 where she trained at many Boston hospitals.
She later returned to Lewiston to care for her parents until their passing. During that time, she worked at Central Maine General Hospital and also as an office nurse for Dr. Frost and Dr. Nowthash.
Margaret was a very good artist and had a beautiful and inspiring singing voice.
She leaves behind her sisters-in-law, Carol and Raymonde Theberge; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Frederick, Remy and Gerard Theberge; her sister-in-law, Alexina Gerard Theberge; and one nephew, Marc Theberge.
