BUXTON — The wedding of Emily Johnson and John Watson was held at the elegant and rustic venue of the Flannagan Farm in Buxton on Nov 7. The bride is the daughter of Ken and Sue Johnson of Buckfield and the bridegroom is the son of Glenn and Karen Watson of Bon Aire, Ga.
Several guests arrived from various states across the country and lodged at the beautiful country home attached to the barn three days prior to the wedding. Activities included a barn dance, camping, a bonfire on Friday and a pig roast on the day of the wedding.
The bride is a graduate of Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in human physiology and a master’s degree in public health. She has also earned an R.N. degree through an accelerated program at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. She is employed at the Colorado University Hospital, working at a high risk maternity unit.
The bridegroom is a professional landscaper who owns and operates an expanding private landscaping business.
The couple resides in Wheat Ridge, Colo.
