Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is coming to Maine. Three shops to be exact.
Cort Mendez, owner of NH Glazed, Inc., has plans to open the fresh-baked doughnut in unnamed Maine locations in the next few years, according to a Krispy Kreme news statement.
“The demand for Krispy Kreme doughnuts and coffee continues to grow throughout New England, so we are very happy to bring this iconic brand to New Hampshire and Maine,” Patricia Perry, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts’ Vice President, Global Franchise Development, wrote in the statement.
Mendez has opened 10 Five Guys franchises in New Hampshire. His doughnut plans include four New Hampshire Krispy Kremes in addition to the Maine locations.
Krispy Kreme has almost 300 locations in 41 states.
