BRUNSWICK — Maine State Music Theatre has announced local auditions for the 2016 season will be held Saturday, Feb. 27, at 22 Elm St. in Brunswick. Auditions will be open call, at 10 a.m. for children and 1:30 p.m. for adults.

Actors are asked to prepare 16 bars of a song, bring sheet music, as well as a picture and resume, stapled back-to-back. An accompanist will be provided. Some may be asked to stay for callbacks and dance call.

MSMT is looking to cast Maine child and adult actors of all ages for the following shows:

Evita: First rehearsal, June 11. Runs June 29-July 16.

Fiddler on the Roof: First rehearsal, July 2. Runs July 20-Aug. 6.

MSMT is looking to cast Maine adult actors for the following shows:

Mamma Mia!: First rehearsal July 23. Runs Aug. 10-27.

Jack and the Beanstalk: First rehearsal May 23. Runs June 15.

The Irish … and How They Got That Way: First rehearsal, Aug. 2. Runs Aug. 19-Sept. 3 with a possible two-week extension.
