PORTLAND — Auburn resident Gary R. Smith, CFP, president at New England Retirement Advisors in Portland, has been authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards to use the Certified Financial Planner and CFP certification marks in accordance with CFP Board certification and renewal requirements.
Smith has owned New England Retirement Advisors since February 2014 and is responsible for all client interactions at the firm, including but not limited to: wealth management, portfolio construction, estate planning, investment advisory services, elder care planning, comprehensive financial planning, retirement planning and insurance planning.
The CFP marks identify those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board, have successfully completed financial planning coursework and have passed the CFP certification examination.
