TOPSHAM (AP) — School officials say police are investigating a threat of violence made against a high school in Topsham.
Mt. Ararat High School Principal Donna Brunette told parents and students that a written message was found at the school on Thursday indicating a potential act of violence would happen there in the near future.
Brunette says there’s no evidence to indicate the threat was credible, but there will be increased police presence around the school while police investigate.
She says the school will remain open.
