George Bunten Post 10 monthly supper

LIVERMORE FALLS — George Bunten Post 10, American Legion, 17 Reynolds Ave., will have its monthly supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 19.

Menu includes casseroles, beans and homemade desserts. Cost is $7 for adults, $4 for students younger than 12. Local delivery is available by calling 207-897-5676.

Dixfield legion hosting supper, band

DIXFIELD — The Dixfield American Legion will have a community supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 19.

Menu includes beans, hot dogs, coleslaw and biscuits.

A band will play following supper from 7  to 11 p.m.

Treat Library hosts seed swap

LIVERMORE FALLS — To help gardeners get new or different varieties of plants, Treat Memorial Library will have an ongoing seed swap while the library is open.

Residents may take their leftover or unwanted seeds to the library and exchange them for seeds they might want to try.

Those swapping should have a container to put your new seeds in such as envelopes. The seeds donated should be no more than 2 years old and may be from a new or opened packet or in a suitable container. If repackaging the seeds, clearly label what kind of seeds they are, how old, and what color, if pertinent. Seeds must be disease-free and came from healthy plants.
