LEWISTON — The Dolard & Priscilla Gendron Franco Center will host a maple sugar day-trip to Cabane à Sucre in Lac-Mégantic, Quebec, on Saturday, April 2.
Executive Director Mitch Thomas will be accompanied by trip leader Bert Dutil.
The group will depart by bus from the Franco Center at 6:45 a.m. Coffee and breakfast snacks will be served at 6 a.m. Return time is estimated to be at 7 p.m. The bus will stop for shopping before returning to Lewiston.
The cost of the trip is $60 and includes transportation and the meal. A valid U.S. passport is needed for travel to Canada. Part of proceeds will benefit the Franco Center.
