JAY — A building and a wood boiler inside it were destroyed by fire Sunday morning on Hutchinson Road, Deputy Fire Chief Corey Leclerc said Monday.
The building was about 35 feet from Jerry Hutchinson’s home, Leclerc said.
State fire investigators were at the site Monday to determine the cause, but it doesn’t look suspicious, Leclerc said.
The boiler and building were insured, he said.
About 15 firefighters from Jay responded to the 4:53 a.m. call.
Hutchinson Road is off Canton Mountain Road.
