1938 – 2016

SCARBOROUGH — Patricia Ann Luttrell, 78, of Wells passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 22, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough with her loving family by her side.

She was born on March 11, 1938, to parents Ulmer and Maxine Coy.

Patricia was a member of the Pine Cone Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, a past worthy matron of Pine Cone Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and adviser for Lewiston Assembly No. 14 Order of the Rainbow Girls.

She loved to bake and enjoyed making blueberry muffins for family and friends who stopped by, always having molasses chocolate chip cookies ready for everyone because they were “healthy for you.” She also enjoyed spending sunny or cloudy days at Drake’s Island beach in Wells. One of her passions was tending her flower gardens around their home. Following her retirement, she enjoyed many years snow birding in Florida. She was an accomplished seamstress, and truly enjoyed doing cross-stitch, braiding rugs and sewing for her family right up until the time of her passing. Patricia especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Early in life she worked at the Fantastic Fair Department store in Auburn and Food Town Super Market, also in Auburn. As life changed Patsy became a full-time housewife, while still providing sewing and alterations for many customers, along with hairdressing for local nursing homes and shut-ins.
