WILTON – Regional School Unit 9 has changed the venue for one of its informational meetings regarding the proposed budget of $33.5 million for 2016-17.

The first of three meetings will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, April 4, at the Academy Hill School in Wilton. It was previously listed at the Public Safety Building but was changed because of concerns about not having enough parking, Superintendent Tom Ward said.

The other two meetings are scheduled at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, at the Farmington Community Center in Farmington, and at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 7, at the Cape Cod Hill School in New Sharon.

Ward will give an overview of district needs and state funding. People will be able to ask questions and give input.

The school board continues to review the budget at 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays in The Forum at Mt. Blue High School. It will not meet the week of school vacation, April 18 to 22.
