WILTON — Police were investigating a burglary Wednesday in which two handguns and about $800 in cash were taken from a home on 500 U.S. Route 2 East.
Someone kicked in the door during the day while the homeowner was at work, police officer Brian Lynch said. No one was home at the time.
It was reported around 8:30 p.m. when the homeowner returned. Sgt. Chad Abbott of Wilton Police Department responded to the call, Lynch said.
