MEXICO — The Police Department responded to 58 incidents over the past week, including the following:

* Ryan Young, 35, of Mexico was arrested April 3 at 3:54 p.m. on a warrant for failure to pay fines.

* A Main Street resident reported someone committed criminal mischief at their residence April 2 at 10:01 p.m. Police Chief Roy Hodsdon said he discovered damage to the resident’s trailer. “We’re suspecting that juveniles are responsible, and charges will be pending,” Hodsdon said. “We’re just waiting on completing interviews.”

* A Roxbury Road resident reported someone broke into their residence and stole prescription medicine at 10:51 p.m. April 2. Hodsdon said police have suspects.

* A resident reported an assault between two female patrons at Wal-Mart at 4:21 p.m. April 1. Hodsdon said police were unable to prove an assault occurred.

* Counterfeit money was found at a local store at 3:06 p.m. April 1. “We looked at the money, and determined that the bill was fake,” Hodsdon said. “Citizens and businesses should know that this is our second report of fake money since the beginning of the year, so people should be careful.”

* A Burton Street resident reported someone broke into their house and stole an undermined amount of belongings. Hodsdon said the case remains under investigation.
