WILTON — Police said a Wilton man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a late-night crash Wednesday.

Christine Dunham, 23, was driving a 2005 Yukon from Farmington to Wilton near 454 Morrison Hill Road when it went off the road about 11:30 p.m., Wilton officer Derek Daley said. It traveled about 600 feet before striking a utility pole and flipping onto the passenger side, he said.

Her husband, Chad Dunham, 30, was taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital by a NorthStar ambulance, he said. Chad was not wearing a seat belt. Christine was not injured.

The cause of the accident is under investigation, he said.

Wilton police officer Gary Allen, Wilton Fire and Rescue and Farmington Police Sgt. Edward Hastings and Officer Michael Lyman responded to the scene.
