1929 – 2016

LEWISTON — Yvonne B. Hebert, 86, of Lewiston passed away Sunday, April 10, from Parkinson’s disease. She died at home surrounded by her loving family. Yvonne was born in Lewiston on Sept. 26, 1929, to Mable and Wilfred Bussiere. Yvonne married the love of her life, Maurice, on Sept. 6, 1948. The couple raised five children together. She was very proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Yvonne was a very happy and kind woman with many interests. She enjoyed trips to Florida with her husband, knitting “pichous,” dancing to her favorites, and most of all – golfing. Yvonne enjoyed playing in women’s league golf and even made a hole-in-one on the eleventh hole at Martindale Country Club on Sept.28, 1989.

Yvonne is survived by her son, David and wife, Debbie, of Montana; daughter, Donna; son, Dennis and wife, Monique; and son, Donald and wife, Kelli, all of Lewiston; grandchildren, Andrew Hebert, Matthew Hebert, Natalie Everett, John and Jimmy Mehalcik, Megan Hebert, Jessica Seefeldt and Chelsea Hebert; and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings, Connie Sullivan, Annette Dubuc,

Francois “Dick” Bussiere and Ray Tiffany.

She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Maurice; her eldest son, Daniel; and siblings, Leo Bussiere, Blanche Poisson, Rita Dupont, Gerard Bussiere and Fern Bussiere.

Many heartfelt thanks to our sister, Donna, who gave her endless love, attention and care to our mom in her home. Yvonne was warm, generous, and fun; her family will miss her dearly.
