Coach: Jessica Merrill (third year)
Conference: MVC Class: C
Last year’s record: 11-2
Returning athletes: Seniors — Celeste Hannum, Olivia Audet, Kennedy Connor; Juniors — Megan Chamblerand, Corinna Coulton, Sarah Spahr, Katriona Hajduk.
Key losses: Hayley Choate
Promising newcomers: Freshmen — Nora Conrad, Tia Hafford.
Season outlook: The Ramblers expect to be competitive again this spring. With a majority of the lineup coming back from last year, the Ramblers are more experienced and know what to expect. Megan Chamblerland is first singles and helps set the tone with skill development. Winthrop has several girls competing for higher spots, so there is healthy competition in practices.
