1925 – 2016

FARMINGTON — Mary C. Landry, 90, of Wilton passed away on Friday, April 15, at Franklin Memorial Hospital with family at her side.

She was born Dec. 12, 1925, in Wilton, the oldest daughter of Joseph C. and Azilie (Richard) Landry. She graduated from Wilton Academy and was employed at G. H. Bass & Co. for many years.

She was a former member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Wilton and became a communicant of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Farmington.

For many years, she took care of her parents in their failing health. She enjoyed writing to pen pals and putting puzzles together.

She is survived by her sister, Lora Thomason of Harpswell; brothers, Arthur and Albert of Jay and Richard and Dennis of Wilton.

She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Joseph M. and Paul; and sister, Alice Schools.

The family wishes to thank her 24-hour caregivers for their exception care of her at her Weld Road home in Wilton and also the staff at FMH for the loving care received in her last days.
