Friday, April 22, Mixer’s Nightclub & MaineNightOut.com, 136 Sabattus Road, will host a night of side-splitting laughter and entertainment with the legendary Michael Winslow, the “Man of 10,000 Sound Effects.” Best known for his roles as Sgt. Larvelle “Motor Mouth” Jones in the “Police Academy” movies, Winslow has appeared in over 50 TV shows and movies including all of the “Police Academy” films, “Spaceballs,” “Sharknado 3,” “Cheech and Chong’s Next Movie,” and “Nice Dreams.” Winslow is also an accomplished voice actor for movies and TV shows such as “Gremlins,” “Robot Chicken,” “The Simpsons” and “Family Guy.”
All proceedes of the event will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House in the memory of Josh Titus, a popular Edward Little grad and a favorite regular on Mixer’s dance floor, who recently passed away after a battle with cancer.
Tickets are $18, plus service charge and are available online at http://michaelwinslowmixers.brownpapertickets.com/
The doors open at 6 p.m. and showtime is 8:30 p.m. This is a 21-and-over event.
Special guest opener is Elliot Chicoine, host for the evening is M/C DJ 2Phat.
