LEWISTON — A Memorial Mass honoring the life of Fernand V. Blais was celebrated Friday, April 22, at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. The Rev. Steven Cartwright celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

The U.S. Navy played “taps” and presented our country’s flag to Fernand’s wife, Claire Blais, and words of remembrance were expressed by his son, Kenneth Blais.

A reception of fellowship was held at DaVinci’s Eatery following the services at the cemetery. Arrangements by the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home in Lewiston.
