FARMINGTON — Acupuncturist Mary Lello is opening a new office May 9 at 101 Main St.

Lello was in private practice in Portland for 16 years and in Farmington the past three. Her solo practice is accepting new patients.

Lello received her master’s degree from the New England School of Acupuncture and diplomates from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is trained in traditional Chinese medicine, Japanese acupuncture and acutonics, a sound-based healing system that uses no needles.

She moved to Farmington in 2013 with her husband, Dave Lovejoy, and has been treating patients in the office of acupuncturist Cristi DeMarco.

Lello will have hours in her new office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and at the health center in Rangeley on Mondays from 12:30 to 5 p.m.
