RUMFORD — Student magicians from 49 Franklin’s School of Magic and Showmanship will perform in The BIG Show Too at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 29 and 30.
The 10 students have been learning and practicing for the past month.
The magicians will show skill by manipulating cards, sponge balls and handkerchiefs. Things and people will appear, vanish and trade places. Items will be ripped, cut into multiple pieces and restored without explanation.
Performers include Bradley Sirois, Brielle Flynn, Brooke Brown, Drew Quirion, Holden Richard, Jade Kubic, Logan Graham, Lucas Malley, Phin Richard and Noah Richard. The classes are instructed by local award-winning magician Scot Grassette, who is assisted by Nick Graham.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. Tickets cost $8 in advance and are available at Bartash’s and All that Jazz on Congress Street, as well as online at www.49franklin.com. Tickets cost $10 at the door.
