NORWAY — Ulla Hansen will be the featured artist at Main Street Gallery on Friday, May 6.
There will be a First Friday reception from 5 to 7 p.m., and Hansen will give a short gallery talk at 6 p.m.
Hansen is a pastel artist who has painted in Acadia National Park for many years. Her work includes many of the carriage road bridges and views from the mountain tops in the park.
She can be seen painting along back roads and open fields in the area. One of her favorite quotes from her daughters is, “Oh, Mom, you have to paint this!”
