1938 – 2016

AUBURN — Pauline L. Levesque, 77, of Auburn passed away peacefully Saturday, May 14, at Clover Manor Health Care Facility, with her loving family by her side, following a long illness.

She was born in Sanford on May 26, 1938, the daughter of the late Paul and Deana (Demers) Brosseau and had been a resident of this community for most of her life. She was married to Robert A. Levesque Sr. on Sept. 1, 1958, and he passed away on July 7, 2014.

She was employed at Sears and Roebuck for nearly 50 years. She also ran the cafeteria at Pioneer Plastics for several years, owned and operated Pollyanna’s Catering for 20 years and drove for Community Concepts for 10 years.

Pauline was a Girl Scout leader and very active in the Franco-American War Veterans Association. She enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, attending her grandchildren’s school and sports activities and putting together puzzles and solving word searches. She loved spending time with and cooking for her family. She spent eight years camping in the summers with her husband, four kids and friends. She loved playing cards on the weekends with friends and family.

She is survived by one daughter, Debra Sparks and her husband, Thomas, of Rumford; three sons, Robert A. Jr. and his wife, Wendy, of Turner, Randy and his wife, Jennifer, of Lisbon and Raymond and his wife, Cindy, of Mechanic Falls; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; one sister, Jeanne Merrifield and her husband, Calvin, of Sanford.
