1939 – 2016
PORTLAND — Beverly L. Mottram, 77, formerly of Mechanic Falls passed on from this life in her sleep Friday, May 20, with her family by her side as a result of Alzheimer’s.
She was born Jan. 3, 1939, the daughter of George and Lois Foster of Oxford where she graduated from high school.
Beverly married the late Dale T. Mottram Sr. of Auburn and devoted many years to the raising of her five children and care for her family home. In later life, she worked for the Portland and Minot School Systems as an Ed Tech and assisting children with special needs, and was well respected by all those she knew.
She enjoyed her arts and crafts, knitting, crochet and needlework. She occupied much of her spare time with gardens and flowers.
She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years; her son, Jeffrey; a sister, Jean; and nephew Kevin.
Beverly is survived by her four children and their families, Dale of Holderness, N.H., Timothy of Amesbury, Mass., Debra Theriault of Ashburnham, Mass., and Christine Lebel of Newport News, Va. She has seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; as well as her sister, Wilma; and her brothers, Donald and George Jr.
