1985 – 2016
LEWISTON — Charles D. Baker III, 31, of Fairlawn Avenue in Lewiston, died unexpectedly Tuesday, May 17.
Charles was born in Lewiston on March 25, 1985, one of two children born to Heather Robinson and Charles Baker II. Charlie was educated in Turner schools and graduated from Leavitt Area High School with the Class of 2003.
Shortly after high school, he went to work for Industrial Roofing and was employed with them as a roofing mechanic at the time of his passing. Charlie had worked for the company for the past 12 years and was currently working with his dad on the same job crew.
Charlie was an avid outdoorsman who greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing and off-road four-wheeling. He was a fan of the New England Patriots, enjoyed playing Xbox and never outgrew his enjoyment of the Ninja Turtles. He enjoyed spending time with his family most of all.
He was a loving and hardworking son, brother and fiancé who will be dearly missed. He leaves behind two daughters, Jennessa Baker, age 11, and Elyse Baker, age one and a half; his mom and dad, Heather and Charles Baker of Turner; his sister, Autumn Baker of Turner; his fiancée, Kayla Rand of Poland; his paternal grandmother, Michele Baker of New Haven, Conn.; aunts and uncles, Michael and Gloria Robinson of Shirley, Steven and Vicky Robinson of Bowdoinham, Marcel and Jean Larochelle of Durham, Brian Robinson of Auburn; several cousins; many good friends; and his co-workers and extended family at Industrial Roofing.
