WILTON — Preventing, Recognizing and Responding to Abuse in At-Risk Populations will host the third annual Franklin County Resource Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at the Public Safety building.

Speakers include Maine Attorney General Janet Mills, Laure Johnson of SeniorsPlus, Police Chief Jack Peck and Detective Mark Bowering, both of the Farmington Police Department, and Detective Mike Mejia of the Jay Police Department.

Event includes on-site paper shredding, and a prescription take-back will be offered for those wishing to dispose of unused or unwanted medications. Mt. Blue Pharmacy will be on hand to conduct medication consultations.

There will be raffle drawings. Lunch will be served.

The event is free and open to the public.

PRRAAP, established in 2013, is a group of committed individuals working in Franklin County who strive to bring issues of elder abuse and the abuse of other at-risk populations to the forefront of the conversations in the community.
