TEMPLE — Judith “Judy” M. Pease, 68, of Temple, formerly of East Wilton, died Thursday, June 9, at her home in Temple.

She was born in Wilton on July 20, 1947, a daughter of Carroll and Delia (Henry) Sprague, and received her education in local schools. On Dec. 29, 1962, she married Leo Pease Sr. and they made their home on Orchard Drive in East Wilton for many years. He died Aug. 18, 2001.

Mrs. Pease worked at Forster Manufacturing Co. for many years and she enjoyed puzzles, daily word searches, Yahtzee, and was faithful to her daily soap opera. She cherished her dogs and cats, and will be remembered for her love of cards and playing “63” with family and friends.

She will forever be remembered by her children, Leo Pease Jr. and his companion, Kimberly Wheeler Barker of Chesterville, Jean Hoar and her husband, Rick, of Temple, and Carroll “Cal” Pease and his companion, Marcie Martin, of Temple; a sister, Meredith Vining and her companion, Ted, of Wilton; grandchildren, Trista Hoar, Meghan Blodgett and her husband, Josh, Marrissa Pease, Jacob Pease, Jessica Barker, and Erika Meaney; great-grandchildren, Cale Clark, Callie Blodgett, Seamis and Kaylee Meaney, and Rebekah and Analiese Denio.

She was predeceased by a brother, Bradford Sprague; and a sister, Caroline Ricker.
