AUGUSTA (AP) — Four people are facing charges after police say shots were fired during an incident outside an Augusta Wal-Mart on Sunday evening.

Augusta police say the people involved were sitting in two cars parked next to one another. Police say suspects in one of the cars opened fire and those in the other car returned shots. No one was hurt.

Police say in addition to the four people in custody, one female possibly involved fled the area. CentralMaine.com reported police were searching the woods south of the University of Maine at Augusta campus in an effort to locate her.

Two of the suspects charged are from Rochester, New York, one is from Augusta and one is from New York City. Charges include heroin trafficking and weapons counts.
