1951 – 2016

LEWISTON — Blinn B. McIntosh, 64, of Lewiston passed away Sunday morning, June 26, at d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston following complications of a traumatic brain injury he suffered 6½ years ago.

He was born in Lewiston on Nov. 10, 1951, a son of the late Burton and Dorothy (Ouellette) McIntosh. He grew up in the Lisbon area and attended Lisbon schools.

On July 4, 1969, he married Corinne Breton in Lisbon and the two started a family together. They lived in Lisbon until 2004 when they moved to Winthrop on Upper Narrows Pond. During that time, Blinn worked for 20 years at Pejepscot Paper in Pejepscot and also at Bath Iron Works as a shipfitter until his injury in 2009.

Blinn loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was a big NASCAR fan as well.

He is survived by his loving wife, Corinne McIntosh of Lewiston; his two children, Michael B. McIntosh of Greene and Amy L. (McIntosh) Austin and her husband, Patrick, of Lisbon Falls. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Kayla M. McIntosh, Mitchell J. Austin, Monica E. Austin and Nickolas S. Austin; his great-granddaughter, Aubree E. Provencher; a brother, Dennis McIntosh and his wife, Carmen, of New Gloucester; and a sister, Janice McIntosh of Woolwich.
