1910 – 2016

SCARBOROUGH — Rebecca Hinkley Robertson, 106, of Piper Shores, Scarborough, and formerly of Chancellor Gardens and Stony Brook Road, died Monday, June 27, at her home.

Rebecca was born in Livermore on March 18, 1910, the daughter of John Bryant and Josephine True Hinkley. She graduated from Leavitt Institute and Nasson College.

She was a therapeutic dietitian for 10 years at Symmes-Arlington Hospital and retired from Maine Medical Center after 30 years of service.

Her husband of 47 years died in 1996.

She was a past president of the Women of Rotary and the Business and Professional Club of Portland and a member of the Woodfords Women’s Club. She had many hobbies and enjoyed her home that she and her husband built in Cape Elizabeth.

She is survived by a niece and several nephews.
