Swim lessons at Hartford beach
HARTFORD — The Hartford Recreation Committee will offer swimming lessons to children ages 3 to 12 who reside in Hartford, Sumner, Buckfield and Canton.
Lessons will be held rain or shine at noon Mondays through Fridays, July 4 to 15, at the Hartford Town Beach on Canton Lake.
Admission is $20 per child, and $15 for each additional child in a family.
Yard, bake sale July 9
BRYANT POND — The Woodstock Historical Society will hold a yard and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at the museum building on Main Street.
Outdoor spaces are available to rent, and the society seeks donations of slightly used treasures.

Honey Bee Club meeting
PARIS — The next Oxford Hills Honey Bee Club meeting and workshop will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at the Oxford County Extension Center, 9 Olson Road.
Weather permitting, there will be an open hive, and participants should bring veils.

Clearwater Lake annual meeting
INDUSTRY — The Clearwater Lake Association will hold its annual meeting after a potluck dinner at noon on Sunday, July 10, at the Industry Town Hall.
Those attending should bring a dinner dish to share. All members and interested persons are invited to attend this meeting. Beverages will be provided.
Antique show, auction in Lovell
LOVELL — For the 17th consecutive, The Lovell Historical Society will host an antique show with dealers from Maine and New Hampshire from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at the Kimball-Stanford House on Route 5, directly across from the Lake Kezar Country Club.
There will be a live auction of contemporary items beginning at 11 a.m. conducted by Frank Eastman, regional historian and storyteller. Those who are unable to attend and would like to bid on an item may contact the society to have someone bid on their behalf with a not-to-exceed limit.
Admission is free, and there will be grilled foods, sandwiches, beverages and dessert items available.
