AUBURN — East Auburn exploded for a five run third inning to defeat Auburn Fire Fighters 10-3 for the championship in Auburn Suburban Major Baseball. Will Cassidy and Christian Frey each had home runs to spark the offense. Campbell Cassidy, Kamden Masselli and Braden Paradie both had multiple hits for the victors. Also contributing with hits were Kade Masselli, Will Marcotte and Kevin Frey. Will Cassidy settled down after allowing two runs in the first inning to go the distance for the victory on the mound. Cassidy struck out 16 batters in the game and yielded only four hits.

Auburn Fire Fighters made an incredible run through the playoffs from the number six seed, knocking off the number two and three seeds along the way. Caleb Albert, Brady Vincent, Alex Avila and Ben Forbush picked up hits for the Firemen.
