1985 – 2016

MADISON — Mariah Ann Packard, 31, of Madison passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday, July 2.

Mariah was born in Waterville on March 8, 1985, the daughter of Richard Dale Packard and Sue Shaw Packard. She grew up in Madison and attended local schools, as well as Good Will Hinckley. She also lived in Skowhegan where she attended the Marty Stevens School before moving back to Madison.

She loved reading Stephen King novels, fishing with her dad, camping with her grandparents and hanging with her best friend and brother, Kyle.

Mariah was a talented artist with a DeviantArt page and had a beautiful singing voice.

She is survived by her father, Richard, and stepmother, Deborah Packard of Jay; her maternal grandmother, Joyce Demo Shaw of Madison; brother, Kyle Packard of Lincoln; stepsisters, Chelcie Watts of Arizona, Donna Jewell and Dixie Bonnevie, both of Jay and Darcy White of Livermore; her special friend, Sam; and her two cats, Nico and Nemo; as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles.

Mariah was predeceased by her mother, Sue Shaw; her grandmother, Yvonne Packard; and grandfather, James “Skeet” Shaw.
