LEWISTON — Philip E. Pratt, 74, of Monmouth passed away Sunday, July 3, at Central Maine Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 16, 1941, in Richmond, to parents James and Thelma “Polly” Pratt and attended Bowdoinham schools.
Philip worked as a mechanic and founded Phil’s Garage in 1976. He loved old cars and collecting junk.
Phillip is survived by his wife, Shirley Pratt; eight children, Ruth Pratt-Short, Gary R. Pratt, Gary Randall, Kathryn Gilley, Karen Condon, Jeffrey Randall, Gregory Randall and Kelly Randall; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; his brother, Daryl Pratt; two sisters, Ruby Irish and Lois Heath; and his nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by brothers, Charles, Clyde, James and Burleigh Pratt; a sister, Bessie Hartford; and a son, Glenwood Randall.
