PHILLIPS — The Phillips Historical Museum, 8 Pleasant St., has announced two exhibit collections this month.
The first, military artifacts, showcases items from the Civil War through the Vietnam War, as well as 30 photos taken of Phillips military men by Luce Studio. These are part of a large collection of negatives the museum received after the studio closed.
The second one is 14 large photos of early Phillips taken by Nell Parker Vining around 1900. These were taken from glass plates, and she developed them using a dark lantern.
The museum is open the first and third Sunday’s of each month.
