1981 – 2016
LEWISTON — Matthew R. Fournier, 35, of Saco passed away on Monday, July 4, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on April 4, 1981, to Ted and Sue Fournier of Buckfield. He attended Buckfield schools and was an active member of Living Hope Church in Portland, where he was recently baptized.
Matt enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his two daughters. Matthew also kept busy with various food service jobs over the years.
He is survived by two daughters, 10-year-old McKayla and 7-year-old Hannah; mom, Sue; two sisters, Sherry and husband, Bill, and Tammy and fiancé, Brendan; two brothers, Doug and wife, Stacy, and TJ and wife, Alicia; and several nieces and nephews.
Matt is predeceased by his father, Ted.
The family wishes to extend their appreciation to his “copilot,” Rick, and the rest of his church family.
