1925 – 2016

LAKEWOOD, Colo. — On Sunday, July 3, Virginia H. Greenlaw left this earth to be with her beloved husband, John, after a long but brave struggle with dementia. Gina is now back in Maine and at peace, but will be missed by all who knew her.

She was born in Norway in 1925, graduated from Norway High School, Becker Junior College and the University of Pennsylvania, with a degree in dental hygiene.

After marrying the love of her life in 1946, when he came back from World War II, she and John lived in Auburn, where their daughter, Susan was born; Wilbraham, Mass.; Cockeysville, Md.; Englewood, Fla. and Albany after retirement; and finally in Brentwood, Calif. They had many wonderful friends and an abundance of good times throughout their lives together.

Gina leaves behind her daughter, Susan and her husband, Charlie of Arvada, Colo.; her oldest grandson, Matthew of Duluth, Minn.; her youngest grandson, Kevin and his wife, Danielle, of Westminster, Colo.; and five beloved great-grandchildren, Natalie and Kenyon of Duluth; McKiah, Liam and Elijah of Westminster, Colo.
