1959 – 2016

PORTLAND — Windsor E. Abbott, 56 of Norway died Thursday, July 7, at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

He was born in Lewiston on Aug. 28, 1959, the son of Lloyd and Hazel Bean Abbott. He graduated from Oxford Hills High School and worked at A.C. Lawrence Leather Co., American Concrete and New England Public Warehouse. Windsor was a longtime member of the Paris Fire Department and in his earlier years enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his fiancée, Lilly; his sister, Barbara Cox and her husband, Steve, of Oxford; nephew, Brian Cox and his wife, Jen, of Norway; two nieces, Audrey Cox and her fiancée, Jason Brine, of Oxford and Tausha Keniston and her husband, Kyle, of South Paris; three great-nephews, Carter and Bryson Cox and Jaxson Brine; one aunt, Gloria Hicks of West Paris; two uncles, Keith Bean of N.H. and Ellis Bean Jr. of South Paris; his best friends, Joe and Pam Tracy; and several cousins.
