PARIS — Comedic magician Peter Boie will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at Celebration Barn Theater, 190 Stock Farm Road, South Paris.

Boie grew up in Maine and first became fascinated with magic at age 11. That early interest exploded into a career touring all over North America and on national TV, where he performed for millions of people on the show “Penn & Teller: Fool Us.”

Boie describes himself as a magician for non-believers, a term he uses in order to be honest with his audience. Combining original mind-blowing magic with a heavy dose of humor is his secret to success that has made him one of the top-booked college acts in the country, and has earned him nominations from Campus Activities Magazine for Entertainer of the Year.

Tickets cost $14 for adults, $12 for seniors 60 and older, and $8 for children 17 and younger.

All tickets are general admission; members receive priority seating. Lobby and concessions open at 7 p.m. Purchasing tickets in advance is strongly recommended.
