RANGELEY — The Rangeley Friends of the Arts will present Sean Fleming and his Dam’ Rag Scotta Band at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, at the Church of the Good Shepherd.

The band plays hits from the dawn of the jazz age. Included will be pieces by “Jelly Roll” Morton, Louis Armstrong and Scott Joplin, as well as early Dixieland-style hits such as “The Chant,” “Black Bottom Stomp” and “Tiger Rag.”

The band will include the same instrumental configuration that “Jelly Roll” Morton used in his trend-setting “Red Hot Peppers,” with Phil Clement on banjo? and guitar?, Chuck McGregor on bass, Mitch Kihn on clarinet, Allen Millett on drums, ?Linda Brunner on flute, ?Doug Kennedy on trombone, Peter Stuart on trumpet, Anne-Marie D’Amico on tuba, ?and Fleming on piano.

Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for students 18 and younger. Tickets may be purchased in advance at www.rangeleyarts.org by clicking on the “Buy Tickets” tab, or at the theater’s box office from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Tickets will be available at the door at 6 p.m.
