FARMINGTON — Old South First Congregational Church will serve Pie on the Porch during Farmington’s Summer Festival from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at the Holman Parish House, 227 Main St.

Musical entertainment will begin at 1 p.m. with singer, songwriter Chrissy Poulson of Belgrade as emcee and sound engineer. The entertainment lineup includes a variety of musical styles.

Musical performances will include Thad Gunther, Brent Laflin, The Merry Plinksters Ukelelel ensemble, Native Oak and Mason Strunk.

In case of rain, Pie On The Porch will be held next door in the vestry of the Old South First Congregational Church.

The cost for a serving of home-baked pie with whipped cream topping or strawberry shortcake and beverage is $4. Al-a-mode with vanilla ice cream will be available for an additional 50 cents. Take-outs will be available.

Proceeds will benefit the Old South Church community service and outreach programs through the expansion of the handicapped accessibility for the Newman Wing. Tours of the historic Victorian Era Holman Parish House, built in 1895, will be available from 1 to 4 pm.
