, age 76, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on Wednesday, July 13 in Farmington.

She was born on Aug. 18, 1939 in Farmington, the daughter of Lawrence E. Roberts Sr. and June W. (Wilson) Roberts of New Vineyard. 

She is survived by her mother, June; her companion of many years, Robert J. Ross of Farmington; her children, Michael Oliver and wife, Marcia, of Chesterville, Lendell Oliver and wife, Laurie, of Standish, Randy Oliver and loving companion, Becky Nelson, of East Dixfield, Lori Ireland and husband, John, of Industry, Jerry Oliver and fiancée, Ava, of Old Orchard Beach; grandchildren, Denise, Dennis, Derek, Kinsey, Madison, Ashton and Randon; great-grandchildren, Emily, Avery and Wyatt; and sisters, Jeannie Bailey of Gray, Patricia York and Annie Searles of New Vineyard.

She is predeceased by her father, Lawrence; her husband, Jerry M. Oliver; and brother, Lawrence “Larry” Jr.

Beverly was a graduate of Farmington High School and studied teaching at the University of Maine at Farmington. She was a master gardener, member of the Maine Hosta Society and a secretary of the Mount Blue Garden Club for a number of years.

She was well known for her beautiful “Lady Bug” gardens and loved to share her passion with others by providing tours.
