FARMINGTON — Two well-known storytellers will give a free performance at the Farmington Summer Fest on Saturday, July 23.

The performance is from 11 a.m. to noon at Enchanted Herbs and Botanicals, 156 Main St. 

Phyllis Blackstone is a retired educator from the University of Maine at Farmington. She has been traveling around the U.S. in her small RoadTrek motorhome for 18 years. This year, she traveled 18,000 miles from the Atlantic to the Pacific, experiencing life and collecting stories. She will share some stories in “See the USA…in a RoadTrek!”

Mike Burns, Irish-born, now Farmington-based, is an internationally known storyteller. He is a true keeper of the oral tradition and is known across Europe and Canada for his spellbinding performances. His stories include tales and legends of his native Ireland. He is fluent in Gaelic, English and French.
