HARRISON — The third concert of the Sebago-Long Lake Music Festival will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, at Deertrees Theatre, 156 Deertrees Road.

“Stringfest” is a celebration of the festival’s exceptional musicians — longtime friends and colleagues joyously bringing music to life.

The concert begins with an early romantic trio by Weber that features a combination of flute, cello and piano. This will be followed by the poignant Shostakovich Piano Trio. Finally, the eight string players will perform a string octet written by Felix Mendelssohn.

Award-winning violist Tien-Hsin Cindy Wu is making her festival debut. Returning artists will include Movses Pogossian, professor of violin at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music; Varty Manouelian, violinist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic; Philip Palermo, associate concertmaster of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra; Gerry Itzkoff, violinist of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra; Laurie Kennedy, principal violist of the Portland Symphony and former festival music director; Bonnie Thron, principal cellist of the North Carolina Symphony; and Mihae Lee, pianist and new music director of the festival.

Individual tickets cost $25, and are free for anyone 21 and younger. They are available at www.sllmf.org/tickets/ or by calling 207-781-3202.

All tickets are for open seating and will be held at the front entrance box office. Tickets are available concert nights beginning at 6:45 p.m. Reserved tickets must be picked up by 7:15 p.m.
